ALEC Workers Health Solutions was established in January 2018 by three professional black women — one occupational medical specialist and two radiographers — and holds a 100% BEE status.

The company was founded after identifying the need to provide comprehensive health care services to employees, extending beyond the Mpumalanga Province, with the clear understanding that occupational health service is an integral extension of public health service.

Currently, Angel Hlatshwayo, a radiographer and co-founder, serves as the sole Director of the business.
